Welcome 2017! (Plus a giveaway! *Giveaway closed*)

Hey y’all!

Wow! Can you believe we are halfway through the first month of 2017?! In retrospect, last year flew by right? I must say, it was a great year! I didn’t do as much here on the blog as I would have liked, though. So hopefully you will see more posts from me going forward. If you have any suggestions for posts I’d love to hear them! Just comment on this post and let me know what they are!

As a welcome to the new year, I have a giveaway! I was expecting this planner last month for a Christmas giveaway but I received it a little later than expected. Have you seen the new Christian Planner? This planner was created by Victor Delacruz, a former youth minister and Air Force Officer, who lives in New York.

At the front of the planner, there is space to make your vision board and an action tracker for your yearly goals. I really like how it helps you break down your goals.

Then there is a yearly overview calendar for 2017 and 2018 which includes all major holidays.

Then it goes into the monthly pages. Each month has plenty of space to write in your tasks, appointments, and goals. There is also space at the bottom to reflect on the previous month and to write an action plan for how you can demonstrate love for God and others during the month.

After the month there are blank pages for service notes, bible study notes, sketching, etc. At the bottom you can reflect on the last week and make an action plan for the current week on how to improve your relationships with yourself, God, and others. Each spread has a bible verse at the top right.

Next are the weekly pages. The weekly pages are vertical and are split into morning, afternoon, and evening with lined boxes. There is space on the left sidebar to write down your to do list and at the bottom to write your goals for the week. I love the daily action tracker. Here you can write down actions you want to do daily and track your progress! Again, each spread has a bible verse at the top right.

In the back of the planner you have quite a few note pages and a nice size pocket to hold some stickers or important papers. It also has two ribbon bookmarks!

Overall, I think it’s a great planner! For me, the size is a bit large. I couldn’t see myself carrying this around but it could work for an at home planner. Personally, I would use it more for a faith journal, to record prayers, scriptures, sermon notes, and bible studies. One negative about the planner is that some of the pages had printing issues in some areas. (See below)

Overall, I think the planner is great, minus the printing issues! I love the fact that it ties in faith into every page and every activity. If this is important to you, then I definitely recommend you check this planner out. If you’d like a chance to win this planner, I will be giving one of these away over on my Instagram page! Hop over there to enter!

I’m excited for the new year! I have some new posts planned and can’t wait to share how I will be journaling through the year! Thanks for sticking around here with me!
